Ondanks de chips tekorten en daardoor veroorzaakte lagere productie aantallen wist de Noord-Amerikaanse tak van Stellantis middels een focus op duurdere modellen van Jeep – RAM – Dodge en Chrysler Pacifica een sterk financieel resultaat te behalen. Opvallend daarbij was dat Dodge in een tijdperk van CO2 reductie relatief veel modellen met de 700 plus pk Hellcat motoren verkocht. Het lagere aantal geproduceerde wagens werd ook gecompenseerd doordat het hier ging om door Corona be\u00efnvloede bedrijven en fleets die het even lieten afweten maar traditioneel al niet het hoogste rendement opleveren. <\/p>\n

Wereldwijd behaalde de Stellantis groep een \u201cadjusted operations profit \u201c van 8.7 miljard euros bij een Euro\/Dollar koers van 118 is dit 10.2 miljard dollars.
\nPer continent betekende dit dat Chrysler USA net als in de oude FCA groep ongeveer tweederde van deze winst maakte :\u2028N-Amerika 5.2 miljard

\nOndanks de verschillen per regio behaalde de Stellantis groep met bovenvermelde gegevens een krachtige 11.4% marge en denkt dit in de rest van het jaar nog te kunnen verhogen, waarbij men vooral weer rekent op een hoog resultaat in de USA.<\/p>\n

Stellantis doel is om tot 2025 rond de 35 miljard euros wereldwijd te besteden aan de introductie van elektrische voertuigen. In de USA komen vanaf volgend jaar ook de eerste Dodge hybride modellen en vanaf begin 2023 een volledig elektrische Jeep.<\/p>\n

Door de beschikbare chips vooral te gebruiken in de duurdere modellen bleef de winst in de USA sterk – ruim 60% van Stellantis groep – en niet onbelangrijk men betaalde per werknemer een extra jaar winst aandeel van 14670 dollars.
\nBij een betere beschikbaarheid van chips en de introductie van nieuwe modellen denkt de Stellantis groep voor 2022 nog betere resultaten te behalen.<\/p>\n
